So a quick fix would just be to remove the marker of yourself when you place a map on an item frame. When you stand in the area covered by a map, you see your own player marker in white. They can only be created with the /summon command or with custom spawn eggs.

When i move my map it keeps the old green arrow icon.
The problem you are having is that the green arrow is the map on the wall meaning you placed a locator map like the one you spawn with.
