Minecraft Vr Crashes On Launch

I am seeing some reviews about how they can't play, as well as how terrible the new update is but it is playable. When launching minecraft from the meta launcher, it crashes when trying to load in. Somehow, in oculus' last update, they broke vr minecraft.

FIX Minecraft Won’t Launch On Windows 10 [Solved]

I downloaded and installed vivecraft 1.17.1 v2 (vr) on a plain minecraft 1.17.1.

I'm on a meta quest 3 if that's needed.

Crashes whether i launch from the oculus app or go to the folder where. It goes to the mojang logo, black screen and then a few milliseconds of the mojang logo.
